Volunteer Time

The local humane society was looking for volunteers to take photos so I decided to go for it. I am now on a weekly rotation with another photographer to take photos on Monday afternoons to highlight some of the pets available for adoption on the local cable channel. Yesterday was my first day and here are a few that I was able to capture in pictures.

I am on the schedule for 2 more weeks so I will share their photos with you. Hopefully I will get to take photos of some of the dogs next time. I have to arrange it with the head of the dogwalkers who happens to be my neighbour.

Few Cards

Just thought I would share a few cards today.

Thank you card

I am doing the finally friday challenges over at Scraptures this month so head over and check them out. 

At the beginning of the week I was sort of feeling crafty but because we had something going on every night except for Thursday I couldn't do a Finally Friday until now (and no longer in a creating mood). 

I had pinned this card a while ago and wanted to do something similiar. I do have a tree stamp but also wanted to use something that at least came with one of the Scraptures kits. 

This Bo Bunny chandelier stamp came with a card kit a couple of months ago (at least in 2012). The mists are dylusions but you can use any sprays that you have. 

I challenge you to create a background for your card or layout using your mists. 

Snowman card

I had the urge to be creative today so I decided to make a card using a sketch from Mojo Mondays.

Last year Mark's cousin got married in Alberta. They had a reception here at home, Jessica even wore her wedding gown again.  I believe at the end of the night she ended up in the pool in her dress.
