Baby shower cards

I was asked at work to make a couple of baby shower cards so I did these on the weekend.

The image is an awesome one from this new to me site...Slinky Tart.
I did one in pink and one in blue to give an option. I colored her with copic markers. Patterned paper:
Pink card Bo Bunny Crazy Love
Blue card LYB Fern & Forest
The ribbon was silver and I colored it with distress ink. I believe the "flowers' are Prima.

Disney Autograph Books

Back in October I was called by a friend, she had recommended me to do a autograph book for a client of hers. I only took a few pictures of the book, my favorite ones. LOL
This one was a little different, I did tabs for different sections...ie classic characters, movie stars, princess/princes.
It was requested to have the castle on the front and not Tinkerbell. I got several emails from the client after she rec'd it to tell me how much she and her niece Amanda loved it.

Ariel's page. I had drew the seawood, but it is almost the same as a Dyan Reavely stamp (that I would love to have). Then coloured it in with SU markers.

This one is similar to one I did for my daughter. The only page decorated is the cover. Jayden is going on his very first cruise and Disney trip. It isn't exactly what I wanted but I still like it. When they get back I am going to add the photos of Jayden with each character and add it to his book. He is autistic and I am hoping he will love looking at the photos and autographs a lot.

That is about it lately. Sorry I have been neglecting this blog but if you ever want to see the cards or scrapbook pages that do you can visit my other blog at www.maybecreative.blogspot.com

Just a few cards

Remember you can always check our www.maybecreative.blogspot.com to see more of my work.

This first card I designed for real estate agents, there is another one similar with 2 houses only but I must not have taken a photo. I made 125 of this card alone for them.

This card I was trying out my new Tim Holtz holiday stamps. I ended up taking the twine off.

I got these two off of pinterest and had fun making them. Although they both took a while. Used some water colour paper on both. Since I don't have a sewing machine, I handstiched on the 2nd one.

Clock

I decided to try my hand at doing an altered clock. This is my first one and will be available for purchase at the Country Christmas Store
I obviously haven't put the hands back on here. I wanted to use the photo without the cover on because it had less glare.

Make the movies jealous

I did a mixed media canvas the other day. I basically scraplifted it from Melita. I just loved the quote and the Tim Holtz film strip ribbon. The dictonary parts that you see have the words life, movie and jealous.
The quote is Live a life that makes the movies jealous.

I also had to restock my ornaments...sold out last year! Here are the snowman ones. I think I am going to define the carrot nose a bit more.

Thanks for looking.

Just some recent stuff

I had posted these on my other blog maybecreative but thought I would share a couple here.

These snowman were from another scrapper (can't remember who right now but it is on my other blog).

These was using an image from Simply B for the facebook fan challenge. I didn't have the Dyan Reavely stamp for the weeds so I just hand drew them my self.

Again from another scrapper who I linked to on my other blog.

This is my most recent art journal page (the picture isn't very good I'm sorry). It is with a technique we all did as a kid that Dyan Reavely gave a new twist to.
The quote is "my mom is a neverending song in my heart of comfort, happiness and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune." Graycie harmon

Mixed media

I just realized that I hadn't posted these photos...I had to wait on two of them because they were a wedding gift for my cousin.
Here is my take on this pin.

A mixed media key ring holder..I think it ended up going as a gift for Dakota's teacher.

Here is my take on this pin.
