My cousin got engaged a couple of months ago and I offered to do the engagement photos for Will and Cindy. We waited to the fall and on Thanksgiving weekend we got some great photos of the couple. Cindy even carved this pumpkin out to be in some of the photos. Most of the photos were taken at Queenston heights with a couple taken in my Aunt's backyard. Here are just a few of my favorites.

Mandi & Tessa ...
a mother and daughter photo shoot. Mandi came to me because her daughter was turning 18 and she did not have a lot of photos of the 2 of them together. We set a date and went back to my favorite location to take photos..Queenston Heights. So many different backdrops to take photos. We had a great time with lots of laughter and some silliness thrown in. Just as we were getting ready to take the first photo..Tessa surprised her mom with a bit of news. It ended up being the conversation for rest of the day. NO Mandi will not be a grandmother anytime soon!!
This is a photo that Mandi really wanted.

Sherri & Lynn Sept 28,2010
Sherri and Lynn were such a lovely couple. You could see the love between them as soon as we met. They could not stop smiling, even when they were crying with tears of happiness. It was an honor to be a part of their special day.
On the Queenston Heights restaurant patio...we went under and then the rain came down. When we finished here the rain had stopped once again.

Alisa and Paul
They married in her sister's backyard..I am partial to backyard weddings because that is what we did 16 year ago. Alisa was a gorgeous bride (and I am not saying that because she is a dear friend) and Paul was a glowing groom. I know you don't usually say that about the groom but really, that is what Paul did. Although it could have been from the cold medication. I just wanted to share a few photos from that day back in September.

Amanda & Bruce June 2010
I can't believe that Amanda is getting married! I use to baby sit her and her older sister back when I was a teenager. For her wedding present I took some photos for her and presented her with an album. She loved what she saw and I was happy to be included in her (and Bruce's) special day.

Welcome
Welcome to my new blog..Hopefully I am better at keeping this one updated. I have one that is more for scrapbooking so if you are looking for my work in scrapbooks please visit www.maybecreative.blogspot.com
I will be posting over the next couple of days. I will start with the wedding I did back in June. Then the one I just did on Saturday (September 11th). I am going to try and find the digital copies of some of the portraiture work I did on film. Otherwise I will be scanning and uploading later.
I hope you like what you see, if so, please pass my blog address onto a friend.
